All of that being said, I'd go back for sure! Read Less Also, the massage was pretty week and rushed. Why no 5th star? I found it a little pricey for a shellac mani (I never pay more than $26 in Boulder, which is a pricey town!), and Snappy charges $30. My manicure was thorough, and the polish seems (after 3 days) to still be holding strong (persevere little ones!). The girls who work there are friendly and efficient plus they genuinely appear to like one another and enjoy what they do. Snappy had hundreds of options, and many that suited my fancy! Very pleased with the shellac offerings. I cannot stand when I am handed only 4 wheels of fake nails painted in various shades of red and pink. The selection of shellac polish is above average. Plus, my superstar boss was generous enough to treat me for my birfday!Out of all the nail spas I've visited, this is among the cleanliest (which by no means is a reflection of the quality of my manicure IMHO), so I'm not overly particular on that front.but if you are, aside from a true spa experience, this is a great place to go. I usually get my nails did in B-Town, but I work in Denver so it's hard for me to make it back in town before the salons close. Is this legal? Also why am I obligated to tip on top of such an expensive service that was overpriced to begin with? Why are tips for services like this expected rather than earned? I'm more than happy to reward excellent work with a fat tip, but alternately, I don't feel I should be forced to tip just be treated decently upon a subsequent visit. Due to the language barrier, and bc he spoke his final words while walking away from me (he didn't stick around to wait for me to sign my receipt), so I'm not 100% sure what he said, but I'm almost positive he told me not to come back without cash next time. I told him I didn't feel comfortable not tipping, so I left a $12 tip on a $45 service. I was so confused and didn't know what to say at that point. I even told him I would tip extra on the card for any inconvenience (can someone explain to me what the big deal with using the card was please?).What followed can only be described as the most uncomfortable check-out experience of my life.He treated me so rudely when I paid with my card, he would not make eye contact with me and then he very brusquely told me he didn't want a tip from me. Well, it turned out to be 3 dolla.I realized I was being bullied into using the ATM and so I canceled the ATM transaction and explained that I did not want to pay a $6.00 fee (in total) to get cash out when I could just pay & tip with my bank card. The tech wouldn't take no for an answer and so he lies to me and said the ATM fee "only 2 dolla". The nail tech basically forced me to use the Snappy Nails ATM-even after I explained that my bank charges a $3 withdrawal fee. Finally, yesterday, I was treated so rudely for paying/tipping with a bank card rather than having cash on me for the tip. The quality of service has gone way down and the prices keep going up. I've been using this nail place on and off for the last 8 years. G-Organics Handcrafted Soap (Online Operated).
